The Quicksilver Mail

The Quicksilver Mail pub is situated in Yeovil, Somerset, offering delicious homemade food and comfortable en-suite rooms.

As with many of our clients which we have worked with over countless years, we are pleased to have built a lasting working relationship with the owners of The Quicksilver Mail since 2011.

The original website we designed and built went live at the beginning of 2011. Since then, things have changed considerably for both the pub industry and website design. When considering a new website, we were pleased to be their first choice.

With the new website, the main objective was to make more of a focus on the food that is served at The Quicksilver Mail, along with keeping customers up-to-date with news and events.

We achieved this by making the menus on the website easy-to-access and visually engaging. Additionally, the modern, full-screen design allowed photographs of their food to be clearly displayed. 

An important factor in the design and build of the new website was how users would access it now compared to 2011. With more and more people now looking for somewhere to eat on their smartphones, it was imperative that we delivered a website that was accessible and easy-to-use on all modern devices.
